My Approach

I look for the action, but also the reactions.

The best photographs usually happen when technical skill, timing, and trust meet in the same moment. I want the images to feel clean and intentional, but I also want them to feel alive.

01

Not just the obvious moment.

A sports photograph might be the shot, the sprint, or the save. But it might also be the breath before the whistle, the face after a miss, the teammate celebrating, or the parent watching from the sideline. Those moments give the photograph a story.

02

Direction without making people stiff.

Most people do not walk into a session knowing exactly what to do with their hands or face. I give enough direction to make the session feel easy, then leave enough space for natural expression and personality.

03

Images with a point of view.

I’m not trying to make every session look exactly the same. Some images are bold and dramatic. Some are warm and quiet. The common thread is that the person in the frame should feel seen, not processed.
